WearResist^® is a registered trademark of the SECO GmbH.

Cylinderliner in SECO’s well established WearResist^® quality have a significant longer life-time in comparison to the standard quality of our competitors.

Developed and patented by our sister company Marine Motor Service GmbH, the WearResist^®-technology is used by SECO for more than 8 years in the manufacturing of cylinderliners for Marine Diesel- and Power Plant Diesel engines.

The advantage becomes apparent to customers using HFO with viscosities over 400 CStr.

In the meantime, more than 60% of the piston crowns we supply to our customers are in WearResist^®-quality and operated in MAN, Himsen, MaK and Wartsila engines.
